Gastronomy

Restaurant O Coronel
International and local cuisine. Really nice food. The owners Fatima and Frank
are good friends.
He comes from Cologne, but is more Bahian than german and she is from Bahia, with
a japonese grandfather. Recomandable:  Mouquecas, shrimps, fish, steaks...
They prepare an enourmos fish plate - even a monkey tries hard to jump over it.
On your request, Frank will also prepare exotic dishes. Try the sashimi.
Ultra cool: Camaràos and Jakisoba.

Canavieiras is a happy town. Almost every night there is some party or dancing going on in the city or in one of the beach pubs.
At dusk people meet in the pubs and bars on the boulevard. In the "Coronel", beyond any doubt, you can enjoy the best view. Although you may have seen it already many times, it's simply great to see the dolphins pass by and jump. And they do so right under our nose in our habitual pub.

Especially during carnaval, new year and special holidays, you cannot escape from the crazyness of super hot bands and their super sounds! And man, how do people celebrate here!

On special occasions a whole beach is reserved, and it is really a great experience to see and feel thousands of people dancing beneath the palm trees and the sky during the whole night and enjoy their lives brazilian style!

And everything is done peacefully, in harmony - and with a lot of good humour. This is the magic of Bahia.
